Way to Catharsis: A night full of black metal energy in Suhl

On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the multi-purpose hall Zwecke in Suhl-Dietzhausen will transform into a meeting point for uncompromising black metal. The concert Way to Catharsis - Insight duo - brings four bands from Thuringia, Saxony, and Franconia to one stage and combines intense stage performance with the raw live atmosphere of an engaged local music culture.

Four bands, one dark tension arc

The evening kicks off with Ylmgard from Ilmenau. From 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM, the band will open the evening with deep black sound colors and a first wave of pressure from guitars, drums, and harsh vocals. This is followed by Thronecult from Mylau, who will further intensify the musical tension arc between 8:05 PM and 8:50 PM.

Thromos from Roßlau will take the stage from 9:10 PM to 10:05 PM. After that, Total Hate from Nuremberg will take over the finale: from 10:30 PM to 12:00 AM, the band will conclude the concert evening and lead the audience into a particularly intense black metal night.

Sound, light and immediate audience mood

Black metal thrives on contrasts: cold soundscapes meet driving rhythm, raging guitar work meets dramatic pauses. In the multi-purpose hall, this creates an immediate concert experience where the acoustics, the stage sound, and the synchronization of the musicians shape the atmosphere. The transitions between the bands give the evening a clear dramaturgy and keep the energy high until the last set.

Local music culture in focus

The evening is organized by KulturKommando Rennsteig e. V. The concert explicitly sees itself as a contribution to regional music culture. Bands from Ilmenau, Mylau, Roßlau, and Nuremberg meet an audience eager to experience extreme guitar music live and strengthen the concert scene locally.

Tickets and entry
