TTC Zella-Mehlis in front of a home crowd
After winning the unbroken championship title in the Upper League Central, TTC Zella-Mehlis steps into Germany's fourth highest league for the first time in the 2026/27 season. The team combines experience with young talents and focuses on attractive table tennis, bold offense, and concentrated footwork.
The regional league squad includes Ara Karakulak, Tomas Vorisek, Fabian Wrobel, and Lasse Peto, among others. With Wrobel and Peto, two players from Thuringia's state squad are part of the club's youth development and the sports path of TTC Zella-Mehlis.
Short Paths, Quick Reactions, Maximum Excitement
In the triple gym, every rally determines the game's dynamics. Aggressive pressing at the table, varied serves, spin-heavy top spins, and precise blocks constantly put pressure on both teams’ formations. Even small tactical adjustments can change an individual match and alter the course of the team encounter.
Hilpoltstein II arrives with regional league experience
TV 1879 Hilpoltstein II is also part of the South Regional League. This league brings together strong teams from several federal states and demands maximum concentration in every match. Therefore, the encounter in Zella-Mehlis promises tight contests, intense rallies, and sporting excitement down to the last point.
Home Game Atmosphere in the Triple Gym
When the balls fly over the tables at high speed, every net roll causes a murmur, and fan chants echo from the stands, real court tension arises. The audience experiences table tennis up close: the quick jump before the serve, the explosive spin in the top spin, and the emotions after a won match.
TTC Zella-Mehlis looks forward to loud support. Fans, families, and sports enthusiasts are invited to experience the regional league home game live and support the team in their appearance before a home crowd.
