Regional League Table Tennis with Derby Excitement in Zella-Mehlis
When TTC Zella-Mehlis hosts Post SV Mühlhausen II on Saturday, November 14, 2026, the Schillerschule three-court hall transforms into a stage for high-class table tennis. Starting at 5:30 PM, fans will experience fast rallies, precise placement, and a true home game atmosphere with free admission.
Home Game with Special Significance
TTC Zella-Mehlis is starting its first season in the Regional League South in 2026/27. After an unbeaten championship title in the Upper League Middle, Germany’s fourth-highest league awaits. A strong Thuringian opponent in the form of Post SV Mühlhausen II is waiting on the other side of the table – the perfect conditions for an intense clash with short paths to the ball and high court tension.
Tactics, Speed, and Determined Pressing
In table tennis, often just a few centimeters decide between winning a point or losing a set. Serve variations, return quality, topspin duels, and consistent pressing dictate the dynamics. TTC relies on a mix of experience and young talents. The regional league squad includes, among others, Ara Karakulak, Tomas Vorisek, Fabian Wrobel, and Lasse Peto. Wrobel and Peto also represent the successful youth work of the club.
Cheering Instead of TV Backdrop
In the three-court hall, every rally counts. The audience experiences the sound of the ball at the table, the concentrated silence before the serve, and the erupting cheers after spectacular rallies firsthand. Home fans accompany their team with chants and provide the energy that can give the decisive impulse in close games.
Free Admission and Live Participation
Attending the regional league home game is free of charge. This offers TTC Zella-Mehlis the opportunity for sports fans, families, and all table tennis enthusiasts to experience ambitious team sports up close. The event takes place in the Schillerschule three-court hall in Zella-Mehlis.
