Conni brings the Musical Birthday to Suhl
On November 7, 2026, the Large Hall in the Congress Centrum Suhl transforms into a colorful stage for a special theatrical experience: "Conni – The Musical!" invites children from three years old and their families to an exhilarating interactive musical production.
A Birthday Full of Little Wonders
Conni is having a birthday – and that kicks off a turbulent musical adventure filled with games, dancing, singing, and a homemade chocolate cake. Together with her friends, she wants to create the legendary "Conni-Super-Self-Special!" Her teddy bear and cat Mau are, of course, essential to the celebration.
But Conni's big day brings another change: she is finally big enough for school. The production tells a story of anticipation, courage, and the exciting step into a new phase of life. Mama and Papa Klawitter, Conni's friends, and the audience accompany her on this journey.
Interactive Theater with Lots of Movement
The dramaturgy consistently emphasizes closeness and participation. Following the motto "What Conni can do – you can too!" the audience becomes part of the story. Singing along, laughing together, and participating are just as integral to this family musical as catchy songs, humorous scenes, and a lively stage atmosphere.
The direction leads the young audience right into Conni's world. Dynamic play scenes, colorful costumes, and a warm lighting mood create a stage design that celebrates everyday life from a child's perspective. The acting combines clear character portrayal with direct address, playfully blurring the boundaries between stage and audience.
Cocomico and Kammeroper Cologne on Tour
"Conni – The Musical!" is produced exclusively by Cocomico Theater and is being performed on a grand tour by Kammeroper Cologne. This beloved children's book character has been accompanying young readers for over three decades. More than 200 Conni books, television appearances, and film adaptations have made the character a staple of German-speaking children's culture.
The Cocomico-Conni-Musicals have already reached over 800,000 young and old visitors. The press praised the production with the words "Great theater for little people!" and reported "Huge applause from enthusiastic kids!" In Suhl, families can expect a performance lasting about 100 minutes, including a break.
A Colorful Family Experience in Suhl
The Large Hall of the Congress Centrum Suhl will become the venue for a joyful birthday party that includes all generations. The acoustics carry the songs directly to the audience, while the production continuously sets new playful impulses with pace, humor, and loving details.
The result is a theater visit that actively engages children and gives adults a charming glimpse into the familiar world of Conni. Those looking to combine family musical, children's program, and shared stage experience will find an afternoon full of movement, music, and theater atmosphere here.
Conclusion: Conni invites you to sing along
"Conni – The Musical!" promises a warm-hearted, interactive, and musical journey through a very special birthday in Suhl. Families will experience a production that encourages, celebrates community, and allows children not just to watch but to co-create.
